The 1st International Conference on Microbial Diversity was held in Milano, Italy from 26th until 28th October 2011.
The participants had an excellent opportunity to present novel findings, to discuss future trends and global changes in field of microbial diversity.
The researchers from the DREAM “food models” presented their survey outcomes, that are beside the science itself also important for already existing predictive microbiology tools, known under trade name Sym`Previus. The researchers investigated the diversity of the spore-forming bacteria isolated from bread/raw materials and identification of those species that are most frequently associated with rope.
